NAHARBARI PANCHYAT (THE TARGET PANCHAYAT OF PAD )
Location: - Naharbari Panchyat is situated 5 kilometer south of Gogamukh town .which is a very backward panchayat of Bodoloni Block of Dhemaji district.There are about 8000 voters . Majority are Mising tribes . There are about 10% Bodos and 5% Adivasis .10% Nepalies and other general casts. 75% Misings. (photo at PAD office IGSSS staff Mrs.Bondita ,Florance and PAD GB )

· Mr.Purnanada Mili has conducted Gaon Sabhas in every three month .
· NREGA has been implemented properly.
· IAY houses are made according to peoples wish .(300 houses are constructed)
· Several personal beneficiary schemes are implemented like fishery & piggery etc.
· Almost all the roads are constructed through different schemes.
· IBS Scheme the president has provided to many for house construction ,fishery, Jatropa plantation etc .

MR.PURNANDA MILI:-
The Past president and Present candidate for Panchayat president Mr.Purnanda Mili is a ex-Student leader (TMPK) . He was tortured during the student movement in 1985 by police and army. Still his physical health is not very well because of torture during movement.
He worked for society from student wood. He suffered for the people of his community and area.
